Serving more than 14,000 residents, the Belvedere Tiburon Library has increased its circulation by 400 percent since 1997.
More than ever, the Library is a hallmark of a healthy society and plays an important role in improving the quality of life of a community.
Nearly 95 percent of Americans agree that libraries play an important role in giving everyone a chance to succeed. The Belvedere Tiburon Library is no different, hosting more than 900 community programs each year.
To keep pace with patron use, the Library will expand to add 15,725 new square feet, creating more room for the children’s area, a new teen center, a coffee cart and more space for technology and volunteers.
The Belvedere Tiburon Library Foundation regularly seeks Volunteers to assist with a variety of functions within the Foundation. Volunteers can be matched to their interests and availablity, from assembling Annual Mailings, working in Corner Books, serving on standing Foundation committees, and day of assistance with our Annual Events. Many employers do match volunteer hours. Check with your Human Resources Manager.
